Dr. Suresh Kaushik
Suresh Kaushik, Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and Chief Technology Officer (Research) is associated with Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, India, since 1985. His research interest combines multidisciplinary approaches in the fields of nanobiotechnology, applied microbiology, soil biochemistry, and environmental science.
Other research interests include food quality and food safety issues; nanotechnology and genomics in food science and agriculture; nanomaterials and nanosensors in agriculture, smart intelligent nanofertilizers; nanosensors for smart healthcare system; use of artificial intelligence in agriculture; soil nutrients, trace and heavy metals research, elemental speciation research using High Performance Liquid Chromatography-Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrometry (HPLC-ICP-MS). His current research interests include nanobiotechnology and nanosensors technology in agriculture and healthcare sector.
He has guided several M.Sc. and Ph.D. students in the subject of Biotechnology. He has more than thirty publications to his credit including research papers, review articles, book chapters and edited books. He served as a reviewer of national and international journals and is a member of several advisory and organizing committees of national and international conferences and workshops. Currently, he is editing a book entitled “Nanosensors for Futuristic Smart and Intelligent Healthcare System” under the imprint of Taylor & Francis/CRC Press.
