MSc Srđan Vuković

Srdjan (Goran) Vuković was born 02.01.1992. in Sarajevo (BiH). In 2015 he graduated at the Faculty of Sciences in Novi Sad (Bachelor of Science in Physics).

In the same year, he enrolled in master studies, majoring in nuclear physics. He defended a master thesis entitle “Calibration of a liquid scintillation detector for measuring 222Rn in the water”. In 2017 he started PhD studies, majoring in nuclear physics, at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad. He has received numerous awards from the faculties and the University of Novi Sad for his success during his studies, and is also a scholarship holder of the “Dr Milan Jelic” Fund.

From 2016 to 2018 he worked as a professor at a high school in Rogatica. Since 2018 he has been employed as an assistant at the Faculty of Technology in Zvornik (subjects: Engineering Physics, Physics, Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering), University of East Sarajevo, Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Scientific research is mainly in the fields of detection methods, measuring instrumentation and radon. As an author and co-author, he published 6 papers in journals and proceedings. He is a participant in international student conferences and symposia.
