MSc Miloš Garabandić

Miloš Garabandić was born on 27th Feb 1993 in Novi Sad. He acquired his primary education at “Dušan Radović” Primary school in 2008 and he enrolled the Secondary Medical School “7. april” in Novi Sad. Moreover, he attended astronomy seminars at the Petnica Research Station for a period of 2 years. He graduated from Medical school in 2012. In the same year, he enrolled the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Novi Sad, majoring in Medical physics. 

He actively participated in festivals such as “Science Festival”, “Researchers’ Night”, “Be a student one day”. Miloš improved his skills as a lecturer at the seminar (2018 Tuzla-Neum) CONNECT 2.0, the topic of the paper: Promotion of Science. 

In 2018, he started working in a Secondary private grammar school “E-gimnazija”, and in September 2019, he started working in a Primary school “Vuk Karadžić” in Srbobran, and a private IT secondary school “Smart”. He graduated in physics writing the thesis: “The optimization of liquid scintillation spectrometer for testing 210Pb in water by detection of Cherenkovljev radiation” in October 2019. After leaving the two schools in January 2020, he started working in the Secondary grammar school “Isidora Sekulić”, where, in addition to physics, he also teaches the subject of Applied Science. He obtained his master’s degree on 21st July 2020 on the topic of the Master thesis: “Monitoring of tritium in surface waters in the PE Nuclear facilities of Serbia”.
