Dr. Zeljka Cvejic

Dr. Željka Cvejić is Full Professor at the Faculty of Sciences, Department of Physics, at University of Novi Sad, Serbia. She obtained her MSc. degree at the University of Belgrade, Serbia, and PhD degree at the University of Novi Sad.

Her research interest includes electronic structures, optical and transport properties, optimization and design of ferrite nanomaterials. She is currently focused on understanding how structure and microstructure affect physical and chemical properties of the different type of materials. Other research interests are X-Ray diffraction, spectroscopy and imaging, scattering and structure modeling, as well as biomedical structure analysis.

Professor Cvejic has published over 50 research articles in international journals (h-index 11), and she delivered a number of invited talks and seminars at leading conferences. She is now Head of The Optometry at the Faculty of Sciences, and she holds the chair in General Physics and Physics Teaching Methodology.
